Control Journal BabyStep 12!!

Dear Friends,

We have been working on our Basic Weekly Plan for over a week. We get to pick a day that we do things and mark it on our days of the week in our Control Journal.

Today we are going to pick a day or days that we are going to bless our homes with our Weekly Home Blessing Hour.

I do mine on Monday morning. Other people may do it twice a week; Friday to get ready for the weekend or Saturday Morning to get the whole family involved and then again at the first of the week to recover from the weekend. Then there are our payroll SHEs that may not have a full hour to devote to this. So I teach them to do one or two items of our weekly home blessing a day. You can do one before you go to work and one after you get home. Then after three days your home has been blessed and you have only done ten minutes in the morning and ten minutes in the evening. With these things penciled on your Basic Weekly Plan you have a specific time to do them.

So now is the hard part. You have to pick a day to Bless your home! Guess what it doesn't have to be the perfect day either. If you pencil it in you can move it around to the time that works best for your family. Practice makes progress. Some weeks I don't have a full hour either so I go to plan B and just do something that is going to Bless my Home!!!

So pull out your Control Journal and write in Weekly Home Blessing Hour and these seven items. You can pick the order.

Vacuum or sweep just the middles not around the walls.

Dust

Mop the kitchen and the bathroom

Clean the glass in the doors and bathroom mirrors.

Purge magazines. This means get rid of them from your house.

Empty all the trash cans

Change the sheets on your bed. (each family member is responsible for their bed)

It is time to put this in your Control Journal.
